BOF Vessel Replacement
CET managed the replacement of a BOF Vessel, replacement and upgrade of the Tilt System and BOF reline. Some of the services provided included capital request documentation, bid tab analysis, contractor selection, procurement assistance, project scheduling and round the clock construction management.
The job was planned for 35 days but ended up finishing nearly 5 days early and under budget.

We provided Engineering and various Project Support Services to upgrade the following:
1. Installation and Construction Management Services to install New Entry/Delivery Shears.
2. Procurement, Installation, and Construction Management Services to install New Belt Wrappers.
3. Design and Installation Services to install:
a. Snubber Roll Units
b. Load Cell Assemblies
c. Entry End Flattener Upgrades
d. Bridle Brake Improvements
Hot Strip Mill Power Coiler Upgrade
CET Inc. provided Electrical Design, On-site Project Engineering and Construction Engineering Services for the Installation of a new Power Coiler and Electrical System Upgrade to the existing Coilers and Runout Tables at a Hot Strip Mill.
